IEA Bioenergy survey on sustainability certification of biomass, biofuels and bioenergy

FIRST RESULTS of the IEA Bioenergy survey available

Dear Sir / Madam,
Last month we distributed a survey on sustainability certification of biomass, biofuels and bioenergy. The survey specifically investigates the operational experiences of people actively involved with any aspects of bioenergy production systems. Many people responded - we have received 158 surveys, from all over the world.
We have now made a first statistical analysis of the responses, which is available at the following website:
Additional responses are still welcome, particularly from regions less represented so far, such as Africa, South America, Asia and Oceania, and from actors that are less represented, including certificate holders, governmental (incl. state and provincial) regulators and sub-contractors (such as farmers, forest landowners, loggers and biomass harvesters and processors).
The survey link will be kept open until 15 August: http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/936779/IEA-certification
