Australia’s premier bioenergy conference, Bioenergy Australia 2011, will be held at the Novotel Twin Waters Resort, Sunshine Coast, Queensland from 24 - 25 November, with a technical tour on 23 November. The program will cover policies and programs, projects and project development case studies and emerging opportunities. The Executive Committee of IEA Bioenergy and also IEA Bioenergy Task 42 (Biorefineries: Co-production of fuels, chemicals, power and materials from biomass) will be meeting in conjunction with the conference, bring several international bioenergy speakers into the program. Last year this conference was attended by 330 delegates and we expect a similar good attendance this year.
